LX: As the base trim, the LX starts at $21,145. It's also equipped with a fair number of features. Standard tech includes an eight-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and controls for the model's four-speaker audio system. Additionally, there are multiple driving modes, so you can easily maneuver through slick, muddy, or even uneven terrain.

Along with a host of tech, the LX is also well-equipped with various safety features such as forward collision warning with automatic braking. Also standard is lane departure mitigation, a lane centering system, and driver attention warning.

LXS: Starting at $21,645, the LXS sees slight improvements over the base LX. The model rides on 16-inch alloy wheels and offers an upgraded interior trim with 60/40-split folding rear seats to further expand the cargo area.

However, shoppers from Severna Park looking for even more safety features will need to upgrade to the optional LXS Technology package. This package includes safety features like blind-spot intervention, rear cross-traffic warning, heated side mirrors, and a safe exit assist.

GT-Line: With a starting price of $23,645, the GT-Line is the model's mid-tier trim, and it adds the LXS technology package as standard equipment. The model also sits on 17-inch alloy wheels, and features LED fog lights, running lights, and taillights. Step inside the cabin, and Riviera Beach residents will find even more improvements, such as a 10.25-inch infotainment display with a navigation system and controls for the model's upgraded six-speaker audio system.

On the safety side of things, the GT-Line only adds a few more features in this area. There's adaptive cruise control with lane centering assist, pedestrian and cyclist collision mitigation, and an electronic parking brake with an auto-hold function.

GT: Starting at $25,845, the higher-end GT model is a more sport-oriented trim that builds on the GT-Line's features. The model sits on 18-inch wheels and features LED headlights, a sport suspension, and a sport exhaust system.

As for the interior, this is where Brooklyn Park shoppers will find comfortable black synthetic leather and cloth seats with red stitching. There's also a wireless charging pad, rear air-conditioning vents, and a USB charging port. When it comes to safety, the only new ones offered with automatic transmission include cyclist collision avoidance and adaptive cruise control.

GT Manual: The GT Manual has the same starting price as the GT but loses several safety features due to its automatic transmission. To compensate for that, Kia has given the model all the features offered in the optional GT2 package. These features include a power sunroof, LED interior lighting, heated front seats with full synthetic leather upholstery, and an eight-speaker Harman Kardon stereo. 

Kia has also given this trim one new safety feature - rear parking sensors. This feature makes it much easier to get back into a parking space or parallel park.
